Looking for youth volunteers to fill various roles in the Youth Development Building!

4-H Alive (1 hour)- Share your favorite project with fair-goers and answer any questions they may have. This should be a demonstration of how to make or do this project. https://signup.com/go/zZEKHWs

Hands-on Activities- Come practice your leadership skills by instructing a hands-on activity. No food-based activities. An example of an activity could be a takeaway craft. Youth under 12 are encouraged to invite an adult (parent/leader) to assist them in this activity. https://signup.com/go/rBvxJdS

4-H Ambassador- Share the 4-H experience with visitors in the Youth Development Building! This may involve answering questions, showing off projects, and talking about your 4-H experience. Ambassadors will be trained before their shift.https://signup.com/go/fRLXodF

Mannequin Modeling- 4-H members can show off their textile projects by posing or walking around the Youth Development Building.https://signup.com/go/kxmnABn

Public Presentation- This is the time to follow your evaluators’ advice and share your presentation at the fair! This is a great opportunity to present to a wider audience about your chosen topic.https://signup.com/go/AeEtLaB

The 4-H Café is a volunteer opportunity for youth and adults!

4-H Café- Volunteering at the Café is a great opportunity to practice customer interaction and food service skills. 3 youth and 1 adult are needed per shift.https://signup.com/go/LsDdCCK

100% of the funds raised at the Café are used for the 4-H Program. (Events sponsored by Alumni Café include; the 4-H Youth Development Building, 4-H Chef Challenge, Duds to Dazzle, ECTA, Public Presentations, Textile Revue, STARR and more.)

• We’re interested to see what you’ve created this year! 4-H members can show-off items they’ve sewn, knit, crocheted, tie-dyed, or made using another textile technique. Email Maddie (mgw76@cornell.edu) if you need clarification.

• Come test your cake decorating skills at this fun event

• Calling all aspiring chefs! Form a team with fellow 4-Hers and show off your skills in the kitchen.
• Teams should have 3-4 members
• Participants must be age 10 and older

• We’re looking for 4-H members who think they can build the tallest tower using mystery supplies. Come try it out yourself!
