Come learn the basics of crop insurance and how you can utilize this tool in your farm business to manage risk. This workshop is free and will provide an overview of crop insurance tools, records to maintain to participate in crop insurance programs, and tools available to assist in record keeping.

The class will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:50 AM in the Community Room at the Western NY Welcome Center, 1999 Alvin Rd., Grand Island, NY 14072.

The workshop will be presented by Sharon Bachman, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator and Katelyn Walley-Stoll, Cornell Southwest NY Dairy, Livestock, and Field Crops Program Farm Business Management Specialist.
