What is 4-H Afterschool?

4-H Afterschool is a way to bring the benefits of 4-H to youth who attend afterschool programs. While people often participate in 4-H through clubs that meet at homes or in public spaces, 4-H Afterschool makes 4-H available to youth at afterschool sites.

How Does it Work?

Staff at Cornell Cooperative Extension support afterschool providers by sharing resources and offering training on 4-H curricula and positive youth development. The goals are to help afterschool staff provide high quality care and access to useful resources.

Congratulations to Geoffrey, one of our 4-H Tech Wizards after school program volunteers! Not only is he a physics genius, he's a great role model and mentor for the kids in our program!
