2024 marks the twentieth year of ‘Bloom’ classes offered by the Master Gardeners of Erie County. Classes will be of interest to both beginning and veteran gardeners.

February 24th – Roswell Park Outreach and Engagement Building, 907 Michigan Ave, Buffalo, NY (The building is on the corner of Michigan Ave. and Virginia St.Parking is available in a lot next to building, (enter from Virginia St.), on-street parking and the Roswell Park Parking Ramp.Enter the building from Virginia St.)
Many individuals and organizations contribute to and utilize
iMapInvasives, New York State’s official invasive species database, and you can
too! This program will cover when and how to use the iMapInvasives app on your
phone to report invasive species and why doing so is valuable. Learn about
opportunities to get involved with community science, including how you can
help fill regional data gaps by learning how to identify and report Wild
Chervil, Elm Zigzag Sawfly, Yellow Floating Heart and Black Jetbead, WNY
PRISM’s 2024 Data Gap Species Priorities. Participants will be provided time to
practice submitting a report via iMapInvasives.
