5-Part Series on Mondays, February 27th – March 27th

at True Bethel, located at 907 East Ferry Street, Buffalo, NY 14211

Become a trained volunteer Garden Educator. Seed to Supper is a comprehensive beginning vegetable gardening curriculum designed for adults who are gardening on a budget. Seed to Supper in New York is offered by Cornell’s Garden Based Learning program in partnership with New York’s Food Banks and Cooperative Extension offices to build more food secure communities — places where all people at all times have access to enough food for a healthy life. Increasing community food security — whether urban, suburban or rural — through programs in gardening, nutrition education, advocacy, and community organizing goes hand-in-hand with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County’s work to help people living with low incomes meet their short-term food needs.

Those trained will be asked to join with such organizations as their local food pantry to lead Seed to Supper classes to train others and implement the practices learned.
